The data logger series testo 175 and testo 177
testo 175 consists of 7 small, compact data loggers fro the measurement of temperature, humidity
and current/voltage. Tehe series testo 177 contains 5 instruments for various applications, which
are ideal for long-term use. All loggers with a display provide a fast overview on site over the
current measurement value, the last value stored, the max. and min. values and the number on limit
value violations. The "data collector" which suits all data loggers testo 580 and the universal
fast printer testo 575 open up new possibilities in the handling of measurement data. All loggers
are validateable in combination with the ComSoft 21CFR Part 11. This guarantees security in
pharmaceutical and chemical production processes.
testo 581 - the alarm switch output
The alarm switch output testo 581, which can be plugged onto the data logger, allows the
forwarding of alarm reports to external components such as: horns, lamps and PLCs. AN alarm is
triggered when limit values programmed into the logger are violated, if the logger is stopped, if
the battery is empty, there is no probe connected, or if the alarm switch output battery is
empty.
testo 580 - the data collector on site
The "data collector" testo 580 allows fast and easy readout, (without interruption of the
measurement series), stopping and reprogramming of several data loggers on site. Approx. 400
measurement values per second are tranferred from the logger to the data collector via infrared
interface. A logger, whether testo 175 or testo 177, can thus be read out in a few seconds. All
values recorded with the "data collector" can then be completely carried over into a PC and
analyzed using the ComSoft software.
testo 575 - the fast printer on site
The fast printer testo 575 ensures high-quality printouts of easurement values as a table or a
graph. The measurement series does not need to be interrupted. Data transfer takes place on site
without contact by infrared. This allows fast and easy documentation even without a PC. The testo
575 can also be used to stop and reprogram the data loggers. Reprogamming the logger via a PC is of
course also possible.
Non-volatile memory for secure data.
The data logger series testo 175 and testo 177 give you the assurance that measurement data are
not lost, even when the battery is spent or when replacing the battery, which can be easily carried
out by the customer himself. Dependent on the progamming data, the ComSoft software also calculates
the projected battery life. This creates the prerequisite for uninterrupted documentation – even
over years. Another crucial factor for reliable and controlled measurement.
High durability
The ABS housing with its non-slip soft cover is robust and guarantees protection form humidity
and mechanical strain. Some loggers even have protection class IP 68.
ISO and DKD calibration services
In many industrial companies, the use of a measuring instrument is only conceivable with
suitable calibration. Testo offers the possibility of calibrating any transmitter with maximum
precision. With a unique combination of DKD calibration laboratories accredited to ISO17025, for
temperature, relative humidity, flow velocity and pressure, Testo commands a unique position
worldwide. ISO calibrations, which offer a cost-effective alternative to DKD calibration, are
accepted during many audits as per ISO 9001, HACCP, GMP, FDA, VDA 6.1, ISO TS 16949 etc.
Windows® compatible software
The ComSoft 4.0 - Basic software offers all that is needed for the safe and fast storage of
logger data. With the software, the starting conditions can be programmed as the touch of a button,
by date and time or via a PC. The logger can be stopped after a defined number of measurements, by
date and time, when the memory is full, manually via a PC, or via the printer testo 575 or the data
logger testo 580. The wraparound memory allows "non-stop measurements", i.e. the oldest value is
overwritten. The ComSoft 3.4 – Professional software additionally offers analysis options such as
graphic mean value calculation, curve examination, other forms of presentation or the offset of
measurement values. It is particularly suited to analysis tasks in industry, research and
development.
ComSoft 21CFR Part 11
Testo has had the ComSoft 3.4 certified according to the requirements of 21CFR Part 11 in
combination with the Testo data loggers, and is thus optimally adapted to the demands of the
pharmaceutical industry
