testo 435
The go-to tool for all your HVAC measurements
- The testo 435 is the preferred instrument for today's professional
air balancing contractors, commissioning experts, and building energy management
specialists. Configurable with an arsenal of probes, you can easily pinpoint and troubleshoot
problems with HVAC systems and see the results of your corrections immediately. Quickly and
easily verify system performance to provide real time BTU/hour readings.
For the determination of
Indoor Air Quality, the essential parameters of CO2, CO, relative humidity, dewpoint,
and indoor air temperature are available . Additionally, absolute pressure
(barometric), air turbulence (comfort), light intensity (lux), and surface temperature can all be
measured.
Basic
energy management evaluations are made easier with the unique Testo probe for U-value
(heat loss) and R-value (heat insulation) measurements. First, quickly and easily determine
heat transfer or loss through walls, windows, etc. by using the U-value probe in conjunction with a
Testo WIRELESS probe mounted outside, to determine the rate of heat transfer through building
structures (the smaller the U-value, the better). After that, the R-value is simply the
reciprocal of the U-value measured (eg. R = 1/U).
testo WIRELESS probes... be in 3 places at the same time!
The testo 435-2 and 435-4 can each accomodate up to three
wireless probes for temp/humidity measurements. Using cabled probes for local
measurements, you can simultaneously determine temperature and humidity levels along an HVAC system
(different zones, different rooms, etc.) from one location, store your measurements in instrument
memory, and either print out results via the testo IR Printer, or download to your computer back at
your office.
