In order to ensure accuracy, measuring instruments must be calibrated.  In order to satisfy HACCP and local requirements, we recommend having these calibrations performed once a year.  Our calibration laboratory routinely performs NIST calibrations for temperature and humidity for both standard points and customer-specified points.

The testo 826 series offers both non-contact (infrared) and penetration core temperature measurements in one instrument !   The testo 826-T4 measures surface temperature with the infrared side, while the penetration side measures food core temperatures.   Both instruments mark the IR measurement spot with a single laser beam and have a user-adjustable audible alarm.

The rugged measuring instrument with an input for high-precision Pt100 probes, plus two inputs for traditional thermocouple probes.  Up to 3 additional optional wireless probes can also be connected, eliminating safety and cable sanitation problems.    This makes the testo 735-2 ideally suited for:

  • Measurements of all food counter foods 
  • Measurements of incoming frozen goods
  • Measurements in walk-in coolers, freezers, ice chests, etc.

 
A  total of 6 channels can be recorded with the testo 735-2.   A remarkable system accuracy of 0.05°C is achieved with a resolution of 0.001°C using plug-in high-precision Pt100 immersion/penetration probe. For these reasons, the testo 735-2 is ideal for use as a " working standard".
